In 13th century near Paris, there was built a gigantic gallows Monkhofon, which didn't preserve till current times. Monkhofon was separated into different sections, which could fit up to 50 people at once. King's assistant De Marini thought that the image of many bodies hanging would make other people loyal to the king and prevent them from doing any crimes. At the end De Marini himself was hanged there.
