Which animals are "badly" adapted for repruduction?

Big pandas are counted to be extinct animals and they have one of the world's smallest birth rates. Chinese scientists at Chengdu Panda Centre came to conclusion that low birth is due to the fact that pandas were "badly designed" by nature. The females of Big pandas can sexual act only once a year for the length of 72 hours. While males have extremely small penises and due to that fertilization of a  female egg only possible in one sexual position, which Panda males don't know.
